Indeed, (A)the Lord will comfort Zion;
He will comfort all her (B)waste places.
And her (C)wilderness He will make like (D)Eden,
And her desert like the (E)garden of the Lord;
(F)Joy and gladness will be found in her,
Thanksgiving and sound of a melody.

(G)Pay attention to Me, O My people,
And give ear to Me, O My [a]nation;
For a (H)law will go forth from Me,
And I will [b]set My (I)justice for a (J)light of the peoples.
“My (K)righteousness is near, My salvation has gone forth,
And My (L)arms will judge the peoples;
The (M)coastlands will wait for Me,
And for My (N)arm they will wait expectantly.
